heads-up on detectorist comedy/drama (- General)

It's on Netflix, it's called "Detectorists", and in my opinion it's absolutely first-rate. It's about a pair of British Detectorists friends in their search for Saxon treasure using minelabs. It is excellent, great acting, great writing, top script & direction, and whoever wrote and created this gem is authentically in the hobby. The details are 100% genuine, right down to the culture and club experience.
It's small, mostly dry humor, but as I said, IMO it's a first rate series regardless of whether it revolved around metal Detectorists or not. It may not be everyone's " cup of tea" , but for me, seeing my hobby as the vehicle for a wonderful show like this is a delight on several levels.
Give it a watch if you have Netflix.
